What do we do?

Students start I.T. by learning computing fundamentals. We learn the parts of a computer and how the computer works. Students move on to learn about system software, business applications, and creative software. We become proficient with industry-standard applications like Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite. We use our knowledge and skills to create interactive media projects. The senior capstone project is a digital portfolio. This digital resume includes examples of student work.

Along the way, students can earn industry certifications that prove content mastery to future employers.  Students can also take advantage of our dual-enrollment option with Stark State College to earn college credit and high school credit simulatneously.  These credits will transfer to any public college or university in Ohio.  Articulation agreements open even more opportunities for college credit after graduation.
